It’s so easy to turn a blind eye to things and assume others will help. Friday 30th March, saw GBUK Group’s Lee Quickmire have the privilege to attend and present a cheque to North Duffield Primary School to fund a new sensory chair for their sensory room.
“Walking into the school you could see straight away the high standard and care that’s put into educating and caring for both children and staff alike. Headteacher, Mr Russell’s passion for leading by example and raising standards for the children was palpable, the respect shown by pupils to all teaching staff shows that this is a pioneering school not only in local education but care.”
He continued to say “at the heart of GBUK is a passion for raising industry standards, along with a strong ethos to deliver exceptional service, products and support to the Healthcare industry, being able to extend and offer that support to the local community and seeing the impact it has makes me not only extremely honored to be able to help but also proud to work for a company that strives to deliver support for the local community and enhance lives.”
Martin Garbutt, CFO commented:
“GBUK Group is an employer proud of their largely local workforce, focused on improving the health and well-being of individuals each day in the UK, and increasingly around the world, through the supply of
quality consumable medical devices. I’m pleased to be able to support our local school in its initiative to promote good mental health in the community.”
