Banana Loop Sling

The GBUK Banana loop sling is to be used in conjunction with a mechanical lifting device (either mobile or ceiling hoist) to ensure safe lifting and repositioning of a patient. When selected and used correctly, the Banana sling and lift combination will achieve a safer and dignified transfer and reduce the risk of injury. Conduct a thorough risk assessment prior to using any sling, to ensure that the sling choice, method and procedure for transfer has been correctly determined for the patient.
